Senior Advisor – Issuer Services and Investor Relations

About the role

The Qatar Stock Exchange is creating a dedicated Issuer Services and Investor Relations unit to elevate market standards. Reporting to the Chief Commercial & Investment Officer, the Senior Advisor will design, launch and scale this unit, becoming the exchange’s top authority on disclosure, shareholder communication, investor targeting and sustainability reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the operating model, service catalogue, governance framework and commercial strategy for the new unit.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a high‑performing team, setting clear priorities and performance standards.
• Design and deliver market‑wide education programmes, executive briefings and training on investor relations, governance and sustainability reporting.
• Advise listed and prospective issuers on IR strategy, shareholder engagement, disclosure practices and sustainability reporting.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior executives, institutional investors, analysts and other capital‑market stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to improve market liquidity, research coverage and overall attractiveness of Qatar’s capital market.
• Represent QSE at industry events, roadshows and investor forums while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in capital markets, preferably within a stock exchange or listed‑company environment.
• Proven track record of developing and leading investor‑relations or issuer‑services functions.
• Strong understanding of disclosure standards, corporate governance and sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills with senior‑level executives and institutional investors.
• Ability to design and deliver educational programmes for market participants.
