Senior Auditor – Investments & Treasury

About the role

The Senior Auditor – Investments & Treasury leads independent, risk‑based assurance across the bank’s treasury, investment portfolios, ALM, liquidity and market‑risk functions. You will evaluate control design, test operating effectiveness, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior management and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead risk‑based audit engagements, defining scope, objectives and detailed audit programs.
• Execute end‑to‑end fieldwork, testing control design and operating effectiveness across front‑office, middle‑office and operations.
• Validate trade‑lifecycle controls, valuation and pricing processes, collateral and margin management, and treasury cash‑management functions.
• Review investment‑management governance, mandate compliance, product suitability and alternative‑investment processes.
• Test ALM, liquidity and market‑risk frameworks, including stress‑testing, hedging effectiveness and model risk management.
• Provide regulatory, accounting and compliance assurance, supporting ICoFR testing and special investigations.

Required profile

• Professional audit qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA) with extensive experience in banking audit.
• Strong knowledge of treasury, investment, ALM, liquidity and market‑risk concepts.
• Proven ability to assess control design, perform data‑driven testing and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with regulatory expectations such as IIA, Basel and local supervisory frameworks.
