Senior Civil Project Engineer – Offshore (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead the planning, execution and delivery of sewage treatment plant and wastewater infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar. The role involves managing all civil engineering aspects of offshore projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering components of STP, pumping stations and sewer network projects.
• Plan, schedule and monitor project progress, resources and budgets.
• Review and approve design drawings, technical specifications and calculations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare progress reports and present updates to management and clients.
• Support inspections, testing and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12 years of experience in wastewater and sewage treatment projects.
• Strong experience with STP, pumping stations and sewer networks.
• Experience working in Qatar or the GCC is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
