Senior Corporate Associate (Arabic/English)

About the role

Al Sulaiti Law Firm is looking for a bilingual Senior Corporate Associate to lead complex corporate and commercial matters across Qatar and the wider MENA region. The successful candidate will advise on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate structuring, and the establishment of new entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions, joint venture agreements and corporate restructuring projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Provide counsel on Qatari legal and regulatory frameworks, including compliance and tax matters.
• Interact with the General Tax Authority and manage regulatory filings.
• Support clients in establishing companies and navigating cross‑border legal issues.

Required profile

• Law degree with a valid legal qualification.
• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven track record in M&A, joint ventures and corporate structuring.
• Ability to work autonomously under pressure and deliver high‑quality results.

Required skills

• Advanced drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of Qatari regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience with tax matters and liaison with tax authorities.
