Technical Analyst, Geology

About the role

Rogii is looking for a junior, tech‑savvy geoscientist to join its Technical Team in Doha. The Technical Analyst will deliver outstanding technical support, training, and product demonstrations for Rogii’s geosteering software suite, helping clients optimise well operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical sales and workflow presentations to clients, both online and in‑person.
• Deliver onsite support and multi‑day trainings, with occasional travel.
• Handle customer technical support via phone and email, including evenings and weekends when required.
• Assist the sales team with engaging technical demonstrations.
• Track client‑reported bugs and feature requests.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in Geoscience or a closely related discipline.
• Up to 3 years of experience in geoscience or related technical support.
• Strong knowledge of drilling operations and geology workflow processes.
• Familiarity with North American plays is an asset.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with StarSteer geosteering software (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with geoscience software such as Petrel, Kingdom or GeoGraphix.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
