Telemarketing Officer

About the role

The Telemarketing Officer will drive business growth for Seib Insurance and Reinsurance by identifying and converting potential clients, achieving sales targets, and expanding the retail portfolio. You will promote the company’s products and services, manage the full sales cycle, and ensure customers receive suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Describe products and services thoroughly to prospects.
• Respond to all customer queries throughout the sales process.
• Identify and overcome objections, guiding customers to informed decisions.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales, securing buy‑in while avoiding mis‑selling.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date customer records.
• Generate new business through referrals and leads.
• Achieve quantitative and qualitative targets, including new business generation and conversion ratios.
• Support retail portfolio growth via proactive sales activities.
• Conduct regular solution reviews with customers.
• Continuously develop technical and operational knowledge.
• Maintain high standards of verbal and written communication.
• Resolve customer conflicts and concerns effectively.
• Meet KPIs related to cross‑selling, upselling, and growth initiatives.
• Support pipeline, campaign, and competitive tracking activities.
• Maintain a robust database of customers and prospects.
• Conduct rigorous follow‑up to maximise conversion.
• Record all telephonic interactions, orders, and account details accurately.
• Carry out customer service feedback surveys when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven track record in sales.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Strong knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of the Qatari travel‑agent market and existing contacts is an advantage.
