Training Supervisor – Learning & Development

About the role

The Training Supervisor will lead the end‑to‑end learning initiatives for SPIE Global Services Energy in the Middle East. Reporting to the Chief Major Projects Officer, you will be responsible for analysing training needs, sourcing quality solutions, delivering programmes and measuring their impact to support continuous capability development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis with business leaders and the Capability Development team, consolidate findings and prepare the annual TNA and Training Calendar.
• Identify, evaluate and select external training providers, manage vendor registration and annual vendor performance reviews.
• Coordinate training logistics – schedules, venues, facilitators and participant arrangements – and ensure delivery meets timelines and quality standards.
• Develop or adapt training modules in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and external partners.
• Administer pre‑ and post‑training evaluations, analyse feedback and produce actionable evaluation reports.
• Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS): upload programmes, manage enrolments, track completions and resolve system issues.
• Maintain comprehensive training records, generate regular and ad‑hoc reports, and provide data‑driven insights for workforce planning and audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating organisational learning programmes.
• Strong analytical skills to conduct needs analysis and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
• Experience in training needs analysis and evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to work with external vendors and manage contractual relationships.
• Data analysis and reporting skills using standard office tools.
