Utility Operator – Cell Relining & Superstructure Refurbishment

About the role

The Utility Operator supports the Cell Relining team in the refurbishment of superstructures and the execution of cell relining activities such as pot changing and rebuilding pot shells. The role is based on‑site in Doha and focuses on safe, efficient production while following standard procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all tools and equipment required for casting operations in advance.
• Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts and pay loaders, in compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist the cell relining operator with brick lining according to design specifications.
• Support superstructure refurbishment, welding, fabrication, and ramming processes.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the work area.

Required profile

• Completion of training modules specified for the PG5 position.
• One year of experience in heavy industry is preferred.
• Possession of a Category 7 forklift licence.
• Completed courses on Aluminium/Water Explosions and Electrical Hazards.
