Assistant Vice President – Domain Support (Qatarization)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Domain Support will lead the Domain Support department, ensuring the bank’s enterprise domain network operates reliably, securely, and cost‑effectively. This senior position reports to the Head of Technical Support and acts as the primary liaison between the domain team and internal customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Domain Support team to deliver maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for non‑core servers and infrastructure applications.
• Ensure all bank areas are supported with compliant computer systems in line with IT standards and security policies.
• Assist in creating strategies, standards, and guidelines for hardware, software, and domain network security.
• Implement KPIs and best practices to promote cost consciousness, efficiency, and productivity.
• Maintain liaison with the Head of Technical Support and internal customers, adhering to Service Level Agreements.
• Oversee administrators and external consultants, and coordinate with Program Directors and Quality Assurance to produce performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing IT domain support teams in a large, regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise‑wide Windows server and domain network architectures.
• Ability to develop and enforce technical standards, guidelines, and cost‑control measures.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with senior technical and business stakeholders.
