Beauty Category Buyer

About the role

The Beauty Category Buyer will lead the sourcing, curation, and management of Snoonu’s beauty portfolio, covering skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare and personal care. You will shape a trend‑driven, high‑performing assortment that meets customer expectations and drives revenue growth across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the buying strategy for the beauty category, balancing global, regional and emerging brands.
• Build seasonal buying plans aligned with key campaigns such as Ramadan, Eid and major sales events.
• Identify, negotiate and onboard new brands and distributors, securing pricing, margins, marketing support and exclusivity where possible.
• Monitor beauty trends, competitor activity and customer demand to adjust the assortment.
• Forecast demand, manage purchase orders, track stock levels and minimise stock‑outs or slow‑moving inventory.
• Track performance KPIs (GMV, margin, sell‑through, AOV, conversion) and optimise the portfolio based on data insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing to plan category campaigns, flash sales and promotional bundles.
• Work closely with Operations, Finance and Logistics to ensure smooth brand onboarding and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in buying, category management or retail, preferably within beauty.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of beauty trends, product cycles and customer preferences.
• Analytical mindset capable of turning data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
