Cleaning Technician

About the role

The Cleaning Technician (CT) provides comprehensive custodial services across base and recreational facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and professional environment. Reporting to the Lead Cleaning Technician, the CT also acts as a Facility Manager for assigned locations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute custodial tasks outlined in the Performance Work Statement, including restroom cleaning, floor care, dusting, and waste removal.
• Maintain and restock supplies, linen, and equipment in accordance with standards.
• Perform specialized duties such as cleaning interior glass, light fixtures, refrigerators, microwaves, and outdoor patios.
• Monitor and escort other country nationals per AFCENTI 32‑1002 requirements.
• Provide on‑call and additional cleaning services as needed.
• Safeguard government and contractor property and follow documented training programs.
• Accurately record time and complete timesheets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (or one year related experience in lieu of education).
• Valid passport and U.S. Secret or Interim Secret security clearance prior to deployment.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Successful completion of psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, and background checks.
• Completion of online and hands‑on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) defense training, including DoD protective‑gear fit testing.
