Data Scientist

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Data Scientist in Doha, working on client projects across finance, healthcare and technology sectors. The role covers building and deploying machine learning models, analysing complex data and turning insights into recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering) for client projects
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and statistical modelling on complex datasets
• Build data pipelines and interactive visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or Matplotlib
• Work with engineering teams to productionise models and monitor their performance
• Communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and clients

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning
• Strong background in statistical analysis and A/B testing
• Master's or PhD preferred; a project portfolio (GitHub link required)

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, R and SQL
• Experience with scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML or GCP is an advantage
