NOC Engineer - Managed Services

About the role

Diyar United Company is looking for a proactive NOC Engineer in Doha, responsible for monitoring and managing IT infrastructure, including systems, servers and network environments. The role covers alert handling, Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, patch management and incident resolution to keep operations stable.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage system, server and network alerts using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for infrastructure incidents and service requests, with initial troubleshooting, diagnosis and escalation when needed.
• Execute and track Windows and Linux server patch management activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability and performance.
• Support basic network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN, switches, routers and connectivity issues.
• Maintain operational documentation, incident records and compliance with SLA requirements.
• Participate in shift-based operations and on-call support as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Must be available in Qatar with a transferable visa.
• Ready to work shifts; preferably male.
• Preferred: diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field; certifications such as Microsoft, Linux, CCNA or ITIL are an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, SCOM and Nagios.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing and switching.
• Experience with SCCM, OPManager or BMC for patch management and system maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and good communication and customer support skills.
