Early Years Teacher – Nursery/Reception

About the role

Compass International School Doha is seeking a passionate Early Years Teacher to lead a Nursery or Reception class. You will create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where young children can explore, play, and develop essential skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver child‑initiated play and structured focus activities.
• Facilitate learning through continuous provision in a free‑flow environment.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS).
• Ideally two years of experience teaching Early Years or Year 1.
• Reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with parents and diverse audiences.
• Eligibility to meet Qatar visa requirements.
