About the role
Eastern Gate, a leading supplier of fasteners and engineered solutions in Qatar, is looking for a responsible and people‑oriented HR & Administrative Assistant. The role supports daily HR and administrative operations while helping translate company policies and culture into practical processes.
Key responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day HR and administrative activities across all departments.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, leave and attendance summaries, and other HR documentation.
- Assist in recruitment: job posting, CV screening, interview scheduling, candidate follow‑up, and record keeping.
- Prepare onboarding documents, offer letters, induction support, and employee orientation.
- Handle exit formalities, including clearance coordination, exit interviews, and record closure.
- Draft, format, and maintain HR policies, SOPs, internal memos, announcements, and official communications.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and labour regulations.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognitions, training records, and internal communications.
- Support communication between Eastern Gate Qatar and its related business entities.
- Prepare periodic HR and administrative reports for management review.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR qualification or Master’s in HR is an advantage.
- Prior experience in HR, administration, recruitment, or office coordination preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
