About the role
Join our dynamic engineering team in Doha, Qatar, as an Instrumentation Design Engineer, delivering detailed engineering solutions for oil & gas projects. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive instrumentation documentation and ensuring compliance with international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare instrument index, I/O list, loop diagrams, hook‑ups, cable schedules, and JB layouts.
- Develop and review P&IDs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform instrument sizing and material take‑offs (MTO).
- Review vendor documents and support procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, and API standards.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, AutoCAD, and SPI.
- Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical documentation.
