About the role
SGS is seeking an Insulation Inspector for a one‑year contract to support a client in Qatar. The role involves ensuring insulation systems meet quality, safety and compliance standards on industrial projects.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect hot and cold insulation systems and verify materials and installation methods.
- Inspect cladding and weatherproofing systems, monitor insulation thickness and quality.
- Ensure compliance with CUI prevention requirements and review material certifications and inspection records.
- Conduct final inspections before handover.
Required profile
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- FROSIO Insulation Inspector, ICorr or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial insulation inspection, preferably in LNG, refinery, petrochemical or offshore projects.
Required skills
- CUI prevention requirements.
