About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering, facilities and asset activities for local projects in Qatar, focusing on building completion certificate (BCC) processes, civil maintenance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead civil work of contractors, manage performance, KPIs, budgeting and operating costs.
  • Provide civil engineering review, inspection and compliance oversight for development works, ensuring alignment with approved plans and Qatari regulations.
  • Coordinate BCC application reviews, inspect completed works and assess as‑built drawings.
  • Maintain asset integrity through engineering, maintenance activities and technical advice to facilities management.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior role.
  • Proven experience in the building completion certificate (BCC) process and familiarity with Qatar/GCC regulatory environment.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in CAD and related engineering software.
  • Experience using the MME building permit system.
