About the role

Join Zuma Restaurants as a Junior Sous Chef and become a key part of the guest experience in our contemporary Japanese dining concept. You will work alongside the Head Chef to create memorable dishes while upholding the high standards that define the Zuma brand.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all mise en place to ensure a smooth flow of service, controlling quality, consistency, appearance, and taste.
• Mentor and train team members to uphold Zuma’s culinary standards.
• Continuously strive for service excellence and consistency in guest experiences.
• Evaluate guest feedback, implement improvements, and deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative concepts.

Required profile

• Passion for Japanese cuisine and a genuine love for culinary experiences.
• Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a high‑volume, luxury restaurant environment.
• Team‑player attitude with the ability to work seamlessly within a large kitchen crew.
• Friendly, customer‑oriented mindset focused on creating memorable dining moments.
