MRAP/JLTV Vehicle C4I System Supervisor

About the role

The MRAP/JLTV Vehicle C4I System Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling the C4I systems installed in MRAP vehicles. The role ensures security, inventory control, maintenance, and compliance with USAF and Amentum quality standards while providing technical expertise to users.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair the complete C4I electronic suite, including Tactical Communication, Intelligence Reconnaissance Surveillance & Navigation, Counter Radio Frequency Warfare, and IED defeat systems.
• Develop, revise, and schedule preventive maintenance procedures based on manufacturer guidance and operational data.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance actions in the USAF Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
• Inventory and account for all electronic equipment, radios, and removable components in required systems.
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for air, sea, or surface shipment.
• Oversee MRAP technicians, ensure safety compliance, and adjust resources to meet production requirements.
• Coordinate with supply to secure limited‑access storage for C4I equipment and pilferable items.
• Provide in‑house C4I technician training and refresher courses, and train vehicle mechanics on working near sensitive electronics.
• Attend upgrade training as required and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proficiency with personal computers, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Extensive knowledge of industry‑standard software and peripherals used in C4I environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining complex electronic systems in a defense or aerospace setting.
• Ability to develop maintenance procedures, manage inventories, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 QMS.
• Strong safety awareness and capability to train and supervise technical personnel.
