About the role
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager leads a 24x7 team responsible for maintaining network uptime, rapid fault resolution, and effective incident management. This role combines deep technical knowledge of network surveillance tools with strong leadership to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements for the NOC.
- Maintain continuous, interruption‑free operation of the NOC in a 24x7 environment.
- Deliver network services that meet SLA targets for uptime, fault management, and response times.
- Develop and enforce robust incident‑management procedures.
- Oversee end‑to‑end fault management from alarm generation to resolution.
- Implement network diagnostics to identify and describe fault symptoms.
- Communicate network status transparently with senior management, clients, and operations teams.
- Stay current with evolving network management systems, alarm processing protocols, and remote connectivity modules.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in a NOC environment with a technical data‑networking background.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Middle East market.
- Proven management experience leading technical teams.
