Oracle EBS Finance Developer

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Techno Functional Finance specialist with Oracle EBS experience in Doha. The role covers requirement gathering, process automation, application design and implementation, testing, training and daily maintenance of financial ERP modules.

Key responsibilities

• Run workshops with stakeholders to capture business requirements, prepare analysis reports and propose the best IT solutions and designs.
• Analyze requirements and automate procedures, then carry out process re-engineering based on the automation study.
• Plan and estimate the effort needed for new features, components or modifications to an existing application.
• Design gap analyses and build storage test scenarios in the environment.
• Design and implement business applications, including programming tasks according to the project plan and functional specifications.
• Maintain relationships with key users (super users) and ensure proper use of the system.
• Test new features in development and test environments before applying them to production.
• Lead end-user training sessions leading up to go-live and follow up service requests.
• Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Supplier and Supply Chain modules.
• Document all tasks from project start to user manuals.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in applications development.
• Arabic speakers are a must.
• System administration background is preferable; good communication, presentation and workshop facilitation skills.

Required skills

• Certificates in Oracle Development Financial Track.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP financial modules (Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Supplier).
• JDeveloper, Oracle Forms and Report Builder, and workflow creation in AME or Oracle Apex.
