Oracle EBS Supply Chain Developer

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Techno Functional Supply Chain specialist working with Oracle EBS in Doha. The role covers requirement gathering, process automation, application design and implementation, and hands-on support of the ERP modules covering purchasing, inventory, procurement, sourcing and project contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to capture business requirements, prepare analysis reports and propose the best IT solutions and designs.
• Analyze business requirements, automate procedures and carry out process re-engineering based on the automation study.
• Plan and estimate the effort needed for new features, components or modifications to an existing application.
• Design and implement business applications; deliver analysis studies and recommendations on IT interventions.
• Perform programming tasks according to the project plan and functional specifications.
• Maintain relationships with key users (super users) and ensure proper use of the system.
• Test and apply new features in development and test environments before moving them to production.
• Lead end-user training sessions leading up to go-live.
• Monitor and maintain daily the ERP modules: Purchasing, Inventory, I-procurement, I-supplier, E-tendering, Sourcing and Project Contract.
• Follow up service requests raised in Oracle Metalink.
• Document all tasks from project start to the user manual.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in applications development.
• Arabic speakers are a must.
• System administration background is preferable.

Required skills

• Certificates in Oracle Development (Financial / Logistics track).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP solutions and modules: purchasing, procurement, sourcing, inventory, asset management, asset tracking, fixed assets, suppliers and procurement services.
• Experience with JDeveloper, Oracle Forms/Report Builder and workflow creation in AME.
• Powerful trainer, good communication and presentation skills, workshop facilitation, and good reporting and follow-up.
