About the role
The Payroll Supervisor is a key member of the People & Culture team at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North, responsible for accurate and timely payroll administration across multiple entities. The role ensures compliance with Qatar Labour Law, WPS regulations, and internal policies while supporting HR objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Administer monthly payroll, handling fixed and variable components such as basic salary, allowances, overtime, deductions, and loans.
- Enter new joiner data into the HRIS system and maintain up‑to‑date employee records in HRIS/ERP.
- Prepare and submit monthly attendance data to Finance for salary processing.
- Calculate and process End‑of‑Service benefits, final settlements, and leave encashments.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including QID renewals, insurance, and GRS obligations.
- Coordinate with HR on new joiners, leavers, transfers, and contract amendments.
- Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
- Guide junior payroll staff and address employee payroll queries.
- Identify and contribute to improvements in payroll processes.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and WPS regulations.
- Experience in payroll administration for multiple entities.
- Ability to manage end‑of‑service calculations and statutory deductions.
- Supervisory experience or ability to guide junior staff.
Required skills
- HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency.
- ERP system familiarity.
- Payroll software operation.
