About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Piping and Static Equipment Engineer in Doha. The engineer handles inspection and quality monitoring of piping systems, static equipment installation, welding, non-destructive examination (NDE) and hydrotesting works.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor piping fabrication, static equipment installation, welding, NDE and hydrotesting works.
- Review contractor ITPs, quality documents, method statements and test certificates.
- Conduct inspections according to approved ITPs and check work accuracy against drawings and specifications.
- Verify daily NDE records and quality traceability.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors and discipline engineers.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in large onshore oil and gas or petrochemical construction projects.
- Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office.
Required skills
- Piping, static equipment, welding, NDE and hydrotesting knowledge.
- Good knowledge of international codes, standards and QA/QC procedures.
