About the role
Steadfast Qatar is hiring an experienced Welding Engineer for a full-time permanent position in Doha, Qatar. The role covers welding procedures, documentation, inspections and quality control within the oil and gas sector.
Key responsibilities
- Manage welding procedures and WPS and PQR documentation
- Handle welding inspections and quality control
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Coordinate with project teams
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Welding Engineer
- Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Currently residing in Qatar
Required skills
- Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
- Understanding of welder qualification requirements
- Experience in welding inspection and quality control
- Knowledge of applicable welding codes and standards
- Ability to coordinate with project teams
