Pool & Beach Assistant Manager

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is seeking a proactive Pool & Beach Assistant Manager to support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences at our luxury resort. Reporting to the Pool & Beach Manager, you will help ensure that pool and beach areas operate smoothly, maintain the highest service standards, and reflect the brand’s commitment to elegance and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the indoor/outdoor pools and private beach, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise and motivate a team of lifeguards, attendants, and support staff, fostering teamwork and high performance.
• Monitor staff grooming, attire, and conduct, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for pool and beach personnel.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and timely resolution.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and inventory, reporting maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in pool, beach, or leisure operations within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on guest‑centric service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand standards.
