QC Supervisor - Marine Fabrication

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a QC Supervisor in Doha to supervise and coordinate quality control inspection activities for marine fabrication, welding, structural and piping works. The role ensures that work complies with approved ITPs, drawings, specifications, WPS/PQR and project quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor welding, fabrication, fit-up, NDT, dimensional checks and final inspections.
• Review inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, test records and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with client inspectors, third-party inspectors, supervisors and project teams.
• Ensure quality issues are corrected and closed within the required timeline.

Required profile

• Minimum 7-10 years of QC experience, including supervisory experience on marine projects.
• Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports or marine fabrication projects.
• Strong leadership, reporting, coordination and communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of welding, structural fabrication, piping inspection, NDT and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with ITP, WPS/PQR, NCR, inspection reports and applicable codes and standards.
• CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI / API or equivalent certification preferred.
