Recreation Attendant

About the role

Join a luxury resort in Doha as a Recreation Attendant, delivering warm, personalized service to guests using the pool and beach facilities. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and promote the resort’s wellness and recreation offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with guests, providing towels, chaise lounge covers, and assisting with set‑up of loungers and cabanas.
• Collect and remove used towels and debris from pool decks throughout the day.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness, ambiance, and safety standards.
• Promote and up‑sell wellness and recreation services to maximize revenue.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including pool set‑up according to standards.
• Follow hotel fire, life‑safety, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by hotel management.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience as a recreation or pool attendant.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of recreational equipment, facilities, and first‑aid procedures.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to undertake any assignments delegated by the department manager.
