Sales Engineer - Process Instrumentation

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer specialized in process instrumentation to join our team in Qatar. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive sales of flow measurement solutions for the oil & gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell process instrumentation products, including flow meters from Emerson, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa and similar manufacturers.
• Manage the full technical sales cycle: generate RFQs, prepare quotations and tenders, process orders and conduct techno‑commercial negotiations.
• Review and interpret technical documents such as datasheets, P&IDs and compliance checklists.
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
• Independently drive sales initiatives and achieve targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or a related engineering field.
• Proven hands‑on experience in technical sales of process instrumentation.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client‑handling abilities.

Required skills

• Process instrumentation sales knowledge.
• Familiarity with flow meter brands: Emerson, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of CRM/ERP systems (preferred).
