Senior Procurement Officer - Hospitality

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Senior Procurement Officer for hospitality operations in Doha. The role covers procurement of food, beverages, operating supplies, equipment and services, working closely with kitchen, housekeeping, engineering and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices and contracts, and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, engineering and operations teams to plan purchasing requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality and compliance with food safety and storage requirements.
• Maintain purchase orders, track budgets and coordinate with stores and finance on inventory and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of procurement experience in hotels, restaurants or catering operations.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality purchasing, supplier networks and food and beverage specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems, inventory management tools and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong negotiation, cost control, communication and supplier management skills.
