Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to design and build a Google Cloud‑based foundation that will support all future SaaS products. The role combines strategic architecture, hands‑on prototyping and mentorship across multiple engineering squads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a shared, scalable GCP foundation (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Spanner) for multi‑tenant SaaS applications.
• Mentor Digital Architects across squads, ensuring adoption of standard patterns, tools and best practices.
• Develop initial prototypes in Java, Python or Node.js to unblock complex features and demonstrate solutions.
• Collaborate with Senior Cloud Security Engineer and Cloud Engineers to define secure network topologies and embed “secure‑by‑design” principles.
• Drive consensus and technical coherence across autonomous teams while preventing fragmented infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8‑10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience, with at least 4 years designing cloud‑native SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record coordinating technical initiatives across multiple teams and mentoring senior developers.
• Professional Google Cloud Architect certification highly preferred.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform services: GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Spanner, VPC, Load Balancing.
• Microservices, serverless architectures, multi‑tenant SaaS design, API design.
• Programming languages: Java, Python, Node.js.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Cloud networking and security fundamentals.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build) and version control (GitHub).
