Social Media & Content Strategist

About the role

The Social Media & Content Strategist will own the social media and content strategy for all QC+ brands across multiple verticals, translating brand and business priorities into cohesive digital storytelling that drives growth, engagement and demand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall social media and content strategy aligned with brand objectives.
• Define content pillars, platform‑specific approaches and audience segmentation for each brand.
• Maintain distinct brand identities while ensuring strategic coherence across the portfolio.
• Identify trends, cultural moments and content opportunities to enhance visibility.
• Lead experimentation with formats such as reels, carousels, stories, short‑form video and emerging platform features.
• Build and manage structured content calendars in partnership with Brand Managers.
• Translate brand priorities, campaign objectives and business targets into actionable content plans.
• Align content calendars with PR & Communications narratives, partnership activations and seasonal moments.
• Lead the social media and content strategy for major campaigns and seasonal activations.
• Brief content production teams, set quality and platform standards, and ensure agency output meets benchmarks.
• Track, report and optimise social media performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and executing social media and content strategies for multiple brands.
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, platform dynamics and content pillars.
• Ability to collaborate closely with Brand Managers, PR & Communications, Digital Marketing and production teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and optimisation.
• Creative curiosity to spot trends and experiment with new formats.
