Technician – Electrical & Maintenance (Doha)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across our hotel facilities in Doha. The role combines hands‑on electrical, mechanical and plumbing work with excellent guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, test and troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing and pneumatic systems.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, electrical switches, outlets and other guest‑room items.
• Program televisions and manage housekeeping‑related inventory duties.
• Maintain landscaping, sprinkler systems and exterior repairs.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls and carpentry.
• Ability to work safely, follow company policies and report hazards.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb and assist with heavier items.
• Professional appearance and strong communication with guests and team members.
