Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Join a leading hotel within the Accor network as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the housekeeping team.
• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness standards.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and service standards while ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments for seamless operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Support scheduling, inventory control, ordering of supplies, and cost management.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of staff.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring health, safety, and hygiene compliance.

Required profile

• Service‑focused personality with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lead by example, motivate a diverse team, and foster a positive work environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is an advantage.
