About the role
Parsons is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a landmark luxury hospitality and entertainment destination in Qatar. Working closely with the Project Director and Deputy Project Director, you will help coordinate multidisciplinary activities across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover phases.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Project Director and Deputy Project Director in day‑to‑day delivery of PMC services.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across all project phases, from design to the Defects Liability Period.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules, milestones, deliverables and the Project Action Plan.
- Facilitate interfaces between the client, designers, supervision consultants, contractors, specialist consultants, operators, utility providers and statutory authorities.
- Assist with project controls, including schedule monitoring, action tracking, risk management, issue resolution and change management.
- Organise project meetings, workshops and technical reviews, ensuring agendas, minutes, action registers and follow‑up actions are completed.
- Track status of design deliverables, approvals, authority submissions, procurement activities, construction progress and commissioning readiness.
- Review project reports, dashboards and correspondence before submission to the client.
- Maintain project documentation, registers and deliverables within the Electronic Document Management System.
- Work with the Supervision Consultant to monitor construction progress, quality, HSE performance and contractor compliance.
- Identify project risks, interface issues and potential impacts on cost, schedule, quality and operational objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management Consultancy, Construction Management or major multidisciplinary development projects.
- Proven experience supporting senior project leadership on large‑scale hospitality or entertainment developments.
