Barista

About the role

We are seeking a Barista to join the café team at Raffles & Fairmont Doha. In this position you will deliver refined, personalized coffee experiences to guests, embodying the luxury standards of our iconic hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve premium coffee, specialty beverages and artisanal food items following exacting quality standards.
• Engage with guests warmly, offering recommendations and ensuring each interaction reflects the elegance of the Raffles and Fairmont brands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café workstation, including espresso machines, grinders and service areas.
• Monitor inventory of coffee beans, syrups and supplies, and communicate replenishment needs.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to support seamless service during peak periods and special events.

Required profile

• Passion for coffee craftsmanship and delivering high‑level hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, service‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment.
• Knowledge of coffee bean varieties, grinding techniques and latte art.
