About the role

The Bellman at the InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa provides a warm welcome and exceptional guest service by assisting guests with their luggage and ensuring a smooth arrival and departure. The role supports the Front Office and Concierge teams in delivering personalized experiences in line with the hotel's luxury service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly on arrival and help them move their luggage from the vehicle to the reception and guest rooms.
• Assist departing guests with luggage collection and transport to their vehicles.
• Handle, transport and deliver guest luggage and personal belongings safely and efficiently.
• Escort guests to their rooms when required, giving information on hotel facilities and services.
• Deliver messages, packages and parcels to guest rooms and departments promptly and accurately.
• Support the Concierge with guest errands and lobby operations such as opening doors.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Concierge for efficient luggage handling, and assist with room changes and mail handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of luggage trolleys and storage areas, and report concerns to the Concierge Supervisor or manager.
• Comply with hotel policies, grooming standards, health and safety procedures and security regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Bellman, Bell Attendant or in a similar guest-facing role is preferred.
• Experience in a five-star or luxury hotel is an advantage.
• Good verbal English; additional languages are an asset.
• Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage safely.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
