About the role
The Bodyshop Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all body shop operations, ensuring vehicle repairs are completed efficiently, safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the body shop and supervise technicians, painters, estimators, and support staff.
- Allocate work to maximize productivity and minimize turnaround time while monitoring repair quality.
- Review and approve repair estimates, coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, and customers.
- Ensure timely ordering and availability of spare parts and materials.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, labor utilization, and control expenses to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized workshop and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Handle customer concerns professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and identify training needs.
- Prepare operational, productivity, and performance reports.
