Cards Portfolio Manager

About the role

A leading global financial firm is urgently hiring a Cards Portfolio Manager for a 1-year contract (extendable) in an onsite role in Doha, Qatar, starting immediately. The role focuses on managing and optimising credit and debit card portfolios, developing growth strategies and delivering measurable results across acquisition, activation, usage, retention and reactivation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise credit and debit card portfolios
• Develop growth strategies and drive portfolio growth
• Deliver measurable business outcomes across acquisition, activation, usage, retention and reactivation
• Collaborate with senior banking stakeholders and use analytics to identify opportunities
• Lead initiatives that improve portfolio performance, customer engagement and profitability

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience managing credit and/or debit card portfolios in a bank, card scheme, advisory firm or payments organisation
• Hands-on experience in cards product management, portfolio management, customer lifecycle management and growth initiatives
• Strong understanding of card scheme products, loyalty and rewards programmes, digital wallets, tokenisation and the GCC banking landscape, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

Required skills

• Portfolio analytics and data-driven decision making, including customer segmentation, cohort analysis, campaign optimisation and test-and-learn
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, CRM and campaign management platforms
