Computer Aided Design Drafter

About the role

KEO, an architecture and project management firm, is hiring a full-time Computer Aided Design Drafter in Doha, Qatar, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing some work from home. The drafter produces detailed technical and architectural drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements, codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update engineering and architectural drawings
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to clarify design intent
• Revise drawings based on feedback
• Organize drawing sets and maintain drawing documentation
• Support multidisciplinary project teams with timely deliverables
• Collaborate with project managers and other design professionals to meet deadlines

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering, architecture or a related field
• Experience in building design, infrastructure or related sectors, preferably in international or regional firms
• Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret design documents and commitment to quality and accuracy
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a hybrid setting
