Contracts Manager – Construction Division

About the role

The Company is looking for an accomplished Contracts Manager to lead its contract management function across construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar. This senior leadership position safeguards commercial and contractual interests through effective administration, risk management, claims strategy, negotiations and dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract management strategies that protect commercial, contractual and legal interests.
• Lead administration and governance of contracts, sub‑contracts, consultancy and commercial agreements across the project portfolio.
• Review tender documents, contract conditions and specifications to identify risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation measures.
• Prepare, negotiate and resolve variations, extension of time, prolongation and disruption claims, ensuring timely submission of notices.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, and support dispute avoidance, mediation, arbitration or litigation when required.
• Establish contract administration procedures, governance frameworks and compliance controls, monitoring adherence to obligations, milestones and reporting requirements.
• Oversee change order administration, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation and approval of scope modifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to advise senior management on contractual matters.
• Excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills.
• Demonstrated capability in leading negotiations and managing disputes.
• Ability to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and governance standards.
