About the role

The Controller I acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, developing and implementing financial strategies that support brand objectives and maximize return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, market trends, and forecast sales versus expenses to create annual budget plans.
• Develop and monitor profit improvement initiatives, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business opportunities.
• Ensure strong accounting controls, safeguard assets, and oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
• Lead accounting teams, communicate strategic goals, and hold staff accountable for performance.
• Manage tax compliance, ensure accurate P&L reporting, and maintain adherence to SOPs and local procedures.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or master’s degree with no experience required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
