About the role
The Controller I acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis, and control to support brand initiatives and maximize return on investment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual budget plans, forecast sales versus expenses, and monitor actual performance against targets.
- Lead accounting teams, ensuring strong internal controls, accurate P&L reporting, and compliance with SOPs and regulatory audits.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to identify profit improvement opportunities and support strategic decision‑making.
- Manage tax compliance, oversee internal and external audit processes, and ensure accurate cost allocation.
- Communicate financial results and insights to owners, executive committee, and senior management, influencing strategic direction.
Required profile
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or master’s degree with no experience required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
