Cook – Full‑time Hospitality Role

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team at The St. Regis Residence in Doha. The successful candidate will prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining the high quality and presentation standards expected by our luxury guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing according to recipes.
• Cook food using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, testing for proper doneness and quality.
• Prepare cold dishes, assemble plated meals, and ensure proper portioning and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen, including tools, equipment and workstations.
• Monitor appliance temperatures, follow safety and security policies, and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Professional appearance, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
