Crew Services Officer - Rostering

About the role

The Officer-Crew Services role supervises and produces legal, safe and efficient rosters for pilots, cabin crew and security flying staff in line with regulatory and strategic guidelines. It ensures roster-related activities are completed within agreed timeframes, communicates finalised rosters to crew members and departments, and supports the Head of Crew Services. The position involves 24/7 shift work and regular contact with flight crew, cabin crew, the Operation Control Centre and Flight Operations Management.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and update legal rosters for flight crew, cabin crew and security flying staff based on available manpower and company policies
• Maintain crew regulatory compliance with QCAA regulations and assign the correct crew complement to each flight
• Plan and produce cost-effective rosters, hotel accommodation and transport with high standards of safety, security and satisfaction
• Maintain leave and day-off databases in line with the leave bid and HR procedures
• Support post-flight analysis of major events and assist with team performance reviews
• Ensure crew training assignments comply with OM-D and regulatory rules and liaise with Crew Training Officers
• Update FTL reports and enter roster data into the relevant systems
• Monitor ticket prices and routes with agents, report changes in hotel accommodation travel policies, and notify crew of duty changes professionally
• Assist the Head of Crew Services with policy, procedures and checklists, and arrange crew duty travel efficiently

Required profile

• Diploma, associate degree or equivalent
• At least two years of airline experience as a Crew Services Officer, ideally from a VIP or unscheduled operator
• Knowledge of flight time limitation regulations
• Fluent written and spoken English
