About the role
Join the pastry team at Grand Hyatt Doha as a Demi Chef de Partie, supporting the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef in delivering high‑quality pastries, desserts, cakes, breads and baked goods.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, production and presentation of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads and other baked items.
- Ensure all output complies with hotel standards, food safety regulations and hygiene procedures.
Required profile
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Pastry, Baking or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in an international hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Good knowledge of pastry production, baking techniques and dessert preparation.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity in presentation and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
