Design Coordination Lead – Luxury Hospitality & Entertainment

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Design Coordination Lead to manage the multidisciplinary design process for a landmark luxury hospitality and entertainment development in Qatar. The role will work within the Project Management Consultancy team, ensuring integration of architecture, structure, civil works, MEP, landscape, themed attractions and specialist systems from concept through hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across all project phases, from design development to construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate activities of lead architects, design consultants, specialist designers, ride and show system vendors, and the Design & Build contractor.
• Manage interfaces between architectural, structural, civil, MEP, landscape, utilities and themed‑entertainment disciplines.
• Facilitate regular workshops, technical reviews and interface meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor design deliverables against programme and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, constructability or operational requirements.
• Review multidisciplinary submissions for completeness, coordination, constructability and compliance with client requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design coordination on large‑scale hospitality or entertainment projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, civil, MEP, landscape and specialist attraction systems.
• Ability to work closely with project directors, consultants and contractors to drive efficient delivery.
