Digital Architect

About the role

The Digital Delivery Office (DDO) is being established and needs a hands-on, delivery-focused Digital Architect to provide architecture and technical design support. The role ensures that DDO initiatives align with enterprise architecture, security and data governance standards while remaining open to emerging digital and AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures for DDO initiatives (AI Factory, Digital Experience, Future Tech, Data & Insights) and act as technical design authority, reviewing deliverables and contributing to the Architecture Review Board (ARB), standards and reusable patterns.
• Design integrations with enterprise platforms (Oracle Fusion, Azure, BI, ECM) and define API and data exchange standards in line with security and governance frameworks.
• Support early adoption of AI, automation and low-code within enterprise guardrails, ensuring designs are scalable and adaptable.
• Work with project managers, analysts and developers to turn business outcomes into deliverable designs, resolve design issues and maintain architecture documentation and decision records.
• Deliver approved solution architectures, an updated DDO architecture blueprint, integration and data flow diagrams, future-tech readiness assessments, ARB review reports and sign-off artefacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience with Azure and/or Oracle Cloud, API management, microservices and integration design.
• Strong knowledge of data platforms, automation and AI/ML.
• Able to balance innovation with compliance, cost and stability.
• TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent preferred.
