Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Director of Food & Beverage is the strategic leader responsible for the property’s entire food and beverage and culinary operations, including restaurants, bars, room service and banquets. The role ensures the brand’s service standards are met, drives revenue growth, and maximizes the department’s financial performance while maintaining high employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement property‑wide food and beverage strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, room service, and catering functions.
• Monitor financial performance, review budgets and financial reports, and recommend capital‑expenditure projects.
• Ensure compliance with brand service standards and quality expectations.
• Lead and coach the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of experience in food & beverage, culinary, or event management, or
• 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

• Customer and personal service knowledge, including assessment of needs and satisfaction evaluation.
• Financial resource management, budgeting and cost control.
• Administration and management principles for strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Applied business knowledge to analyse market dynamics and drive results.
• Material resource management for equipment, facilities and supplies.
